Another important aspect to stay rooted in God's word in order to bear fruit, is staying connected to the vine by spending time with alone with Him in addition to us studying His word together. Spending alone time with him each day is essential to bear fruit. We don't have to worry about making an appointment because He is available 24/7/365 any time of the day. We also don't need to make a advance reservation; no R.S.V.P. is needed because the mighty God we serve is an on time God; He is never late - He is always on time. All we need to do is make a prayerful commitment to meet the Lord daily because my sister He makes house calls.
Many women of God prefer to devote time in the morning before they start their day with the Lord. But we know that old saying - different strokes for different folks. There are 24 hours in each day so during that day it is our Christian duty to just seek Him and to present our body as a living sacrifice as we spend quality quiet time with God. The CB Connection Mentoring Minis"trees" recommends the following to set the atmosphere for staying connected to the vine to spend your quiet time alone with God:

The CB Connection Mentoring Minis"trees" recommends the following to set the atmosphere for staying connected to the vine to spend your quiet time alone with God:
1) Find an appropriate room or space in your home that is comfortable and quiet, then anoint your space - consecrating it as Holy Ground. For example, some woman of God have designated a room in their home for this purpose; while others who live in apartments have designated a special place in their living room area. Turn off everything off in your house, the tv, the telephone; and just bask in the blessed quietness for your alone time with the God. Shut everything out so that He can come in.
2) Set a daily time - day or night, morning, afternoon, or evening depending on your schedule, when you will regulary meet with the Lord to stay conneccted to the vine.
3) Get a beautiful wicker basket, gorgeous hat box or pretty storage container and gather the following items:
+ Bible (recommend a user friendly bible that you can understand clearly)
+ Notebook (God is going to speak to you so you want to be able to write it down)
+ Oil (Anoint your ears to hear what thus saith the Lord)
+ Worship Music - Recommendations - The Throne Room by CeCe Winans, William McDowell, Shekinah Glory
+ Candles
+ Notecards & Stamps (In the event you want to share with someone else)
+ Cup of tea or coffee or juice or a glass of water (your favorite comfort beverage)
+ Comfortable chair
+ Tissues (cause girl- you may have to cry sometimes)
4) Sit and welcome the presence of the Lord as you pray and read his word because God will show up for just one because when 2 or 3 are gathered in His name He will be in the midst.
5) Whether you hear a still small voice or God is silent, we have to always remember to be still and know that He is God.
